Colour My Shapes & Compare app for iPhone and iPad

This App is designed for young children aged 2+ and is now optimized for retina iPad to improve the quality of displays. They learn about color recognition, comparing and identifying a range of big/little geometric shapes and different objects with terms such as long, tall or short. There are four challenges:

- To compare and fill with the correct color the big or little geometric shape displayed, using word prompts.

- To compare and fill with the correct color the long or short object displayed, using word prompts.

- To compare and fill with the correct color the tall or short object displayed, using word prompts.

- To compare and fill with the correct color a long, tall or short object in a scene, using word prompts.

As well as 8 geometric shapes to compare, there are 16 different objects which include a house, dog, flower, tree, boat, train, lorry, lighthouse and windmill. Colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, white and black.

At home, in a nursery, playgroup or toddler group, children learn best where an adult talks with the child as they work through the challenges together.

The App is intuitive to use - tap on a paintbox color and then tap the shape. Audio (optional) is provided when a color is selected.

Personalize with a childs name, share snapshots via the iPad photo album or send by email as an attachment. A parent gate is included for access to email or the Internet to view our other Apps.
